Every holiday season, my family gathers to watch a...
This year, we saw Avatar on IMAX 3D. The special effects were pretty amazing, and mom didn’t even throw up from motion sickness. I have to say though, I liked it more than The Last Samurai, but not as much as Dances With Wolves.

Does it count as a conversation when you haven’t talked since Thanksgiving and all she does it repeat and ask questions about things you’ve already told her about? I guess that’s her giving it her best. That, and mentioning the things that I’m missing out on by not being around and rubbing the price of hotels she can’t get me for New Years, but thinks it’s best...

A friend claims that I pronounce “Fresh Direct” incorrectly.
Consistently.
She says it out loud for me. Her way and mine.
They sound the same. I start to argue, but, really, begin to worry: is it possible that I pronounce things like “Fresh Direct” incorrectly?
I ask her for other examples. If I do this often. Do I have cause for concern.

Fuck you, Michigan winter.
First snow of the winter and you give me a foot. I spend a half hour just shoveling the snow off my car for it to be stuck in it’s spot. I’m so glad that I can do all those things I had to get done today. And more importantly, get food. Fuuuuuu—-
